Get involved in Kids Tennis Days this Summer

The weather is great, the days are long and there is excitement in the air. The Australian summer really is the perfect time to be encouraging your child to play ANZ Tennis Hot Shots.

Why not get them motivated at a Kids Tennis Day during one of the many professional tournaments played across the country this summer. There are great opportunities at these events for kids to pick up a racquet and play – and get inspired by the game’s superstars too.

On the eve of the Australian Open, Melbourne Park will be abuzz with young fans playing ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, meeting Marvel superheroes and enjoying a Rod Laver Arena Spectacular featuring some of the world’s best players and ARIA-winning band Sheppard.

The sixth annual Kids Tennis Day at the Australian Open, brought to you by ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, is on Saturday 13 January 2018. It runs from 8am to 3.30pm. Kids under 15 get free entry to Melbourne Park, however a ticket is still required to enter. Adult tickets are available from $17.

“Kids Tennis Day is one of the highlights of the summer as it brings together some of the sport’s finest players, kids and of course some exciting Disney characters”, Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley said. Find out more.


Entertainer Timomatic headlines the Suncorp Kids Tennis Day at the Brisbane International on Sunday 31 December 2017. Warner Bros. Movie World’s Looney Tunes characters and DC Super Heroes will also join in the fun. Kids under 16 get free entry into the Queensland Tennis Centre if accompanied by a paying adult. Find out more here.


Every day is Kids Tennis Day as the Mastercard Hopman Cup celebrates 30 years in 2018. There is a range of fun activities on-site at the Perth Arena sure to please, including a giant ball pit and mini-courts for kids to play on. Children’s tickets are available from $5 for all day sessions from Saturday 30 December 2017 to Friday 5 January 2018. Find out more here.


Saturday 6 January 2018 is Kids Tennis Day at the Hobart International. Entry is free for both children and adults at the Domain Tennis Centre that day, with a range of fun activities planned from 10am to 1pm.
